Moritz Reinhart

Before founding AQS, Moritz studied business and worked as a cinematographer. His interest in investing grew into years of research, developing strategies, and putting them to work with real money.

He founded AQS in 2022 to bring that work to other investors. Along the way, he placed third in the 2022 US Investing Championship, and AQS earned first-place recognition in the 2025 FirstFive ranking of Swiss money managers.

What interests him most is the work behind the results: understanding how different investments behave, finding ways to manage risk, and testing ideas in practice.

Today, he runs AQS as a private investment company serving a small circle of investors. He also shares what he has learned, takes on selected advisory work, and is developing new ventures through angel investing and venture building.
