First place in the FirstFive ranking
In the 2025 edition of FirstFive’s ranking of Switzerland’s best asset managers, AQS Investments AG took first place for its twelve-month return in the moderate-dynamic category.
The ranking compares the performance of real client portfolios. That makes this recognition particularly meaningful to us: it reflects results achieved with actual money entrusted to us by investors.
Our strategies were designed to achieve two goals: generate strong returns when markets are going up and protect capital when markets crash. We showed the defensive side of our approach in 2022: when stocks and bonds were down by up to 50%, we still managed to generate a positive return.
The FirstFive result shows how we’re not only performing well during falling markets - but we were able to generate strong returns during rising markets. With global stocks performing very well we were able to capture that upside and outperform our competitors.
This shows the strategy performing as it is meant to: strong returns when markets go up - protect capital when markets go down.
